Peeping Tom + Evan Parker at London - The Vortex

Joel Grip – double bassist and producer, originally from Stockholm, Sweden – is improvising music. Giving all of him, via his instrument; the double bass. The last five years he has been on a constant move, giving concerts as a soloist and as a part of various groups in USA, Central America, Japan, China, India, and Europe. Besides work in just musical context, collaborations often include contemporary and Butoh dancers, as well as artists, poets, and filmmakers.With music at arms, Joel use much of his energy finding ways of making people meet and listen to each other by organizing - among other things - the annual art-flow festival called Hagenfesten in Dala-Floda, the NGO Public Health Music - making homeless voices heard - and by transforming the sound through the label Umlaut Records.
