“Die Hochstapler” (The Impostors) have developed a highly personal style based on collective composition, radical individualism and oral communication. Poetry, alphabets and game structures serve as a basis for the common memory basket from which the four players are drawing in every performance in a new and unpredictable way. Their work is documented on five albums and has been presented in festivals and venues all over Europe.
